New Holiday Outfits
Jan. 12th, 2012 05:36 pmI know, I'm a little late, right? But now that I've milked the festival for about all it's worth, I was ready to settle down and sort out everybody's clothing. So without further ado, here are the winter fashions.

Wyn's outfit was the simplest because I had already finished half of it. This dress originally came in red, but I dyed it burgundy because bright reds make Wyn's paleness even more stark. Ironically, burgundy on the dress matched crimson on the cape, and put together they are rather strikingly beautiful, I think. Stay tuned, supposedly in a little over a month I should be getting a gorgeous blue dress as well.

Here's a close-up showing more detail on the black lace and the ties.

Here's Dezi in the mariner's hauberk. You may have seen it before in green, but it looks MUCH more festive in crimson. He's wearing it with the same cloak as Wyn, and a bright red scarf which also used to be green.

Here's a better picture of the cloak.

Astrid is wearing the Mathom Society Dress in Rivendell Green and the same cloak as the others because frankly that's my favorite cloak of this season. The warm winter cloak has a nice design, but they crippled cosmetic efforts by dying it a shade of purple that doesn't go with ANYTHING. This picture shows the lace on the dress pretty well - it's a lot like her elegant short-sleeved dress, but prettier and more suitable for the cold weather. I have the scarf in Rivendell Green as well, but I kind of like the contrast it makes in red. I am currently looking for white dye, because the scarf also looks awesome in white.

This is Raf snoozing in the brand new house he and Oz just bought together. He'd just finished laying all the floors, putting up the wallpaper, moving all the furniture in, and is taking a well-deserved nap.
