XD I'm right there with you. I think socialism has been badly applied when it's been attempted, but there have been some attempts that have worked fairly well. Canada has socialized medicine, for instance, and all the Canadians I've heard from have said it works quite well. Same with England, Norway, Sweden... most of these countries are not completely socialist, but parts of their government are socialist and this provides a robust safety net which allows their population to enjoy much greater happiness and quality of life than we do in the US.
